Waterhouse
Audience & Purpose
The audience is primarily consumers shopping for higher end bath and kitchen fixtures and faucets. A smaller secondary audience is contractors for bath and kitchen construction or remodeling jobs. The purpose of the site is to showcase the vast choice and selection of Waterhouse and demonstate its expertise in helping consumers purchase the right products. In addition, they wanted to showcase their unique showroom, which is the only one like it within a 150 mile radius.
The sales force used to spend a considerable amount of time educating consumers with a low closing ratio on the first visit. Consumers are now encouraged to visit the site and get useful information that will move them farther along in the sales cycle before visiting the showroom. The goal is to raise the close ratio of the first time visitor to the showroom.
Gorillas & Gazelles, LLC
International Award Winning Web Site! (Summit EMA 2007)
Audience & Purpose
The audience are companies in need of HR and strategic consulting services. Some of these services include taking proprietary assessments online. This site is an example of a powerful database driven web site. All of the assessments and scoring methodology are built online. Clients are able to pay and enroll to take these online assessments and have them scored and based on the score placed into one of several possible categories.
Inforamtion regarding the individual's category is automatically presented to them in the form of online documents. In addition, the entire system has a powerful back-end administration piece that allows G&G to review the results of assessments and manage client profiles. The entire site is built on .NET and a Microsoft SQL database to insure security and smooth operation under heavy traffic loads.
Castle Photo
Audience and Purpose
This web site was designed to promote the Castle Photo stores including photo processing and digital and film photography equipment and accessories. In addition, the site is set up to be a destination site on the web by offering articles and information to photography enthusiasts. The site offers monthly promotions and advertises the company's eBay store where new and used equipment is sold. Many of their processing services can be ordered online through the web site. The company utilzes both branded email and email marketing to drive traffic to their site and enhance their brand online.
Brady, Coyle & Schmidt
Audience & Purpose
The site was created to promote a medium sized law practice that offers a diverse amount of legal expertise. The main purpose of the site is to demonstrate the diversity of professional serives offered and the background of each of the attorneys. The site was also optimized for easy indexing by search engines.
Lawn Creations
Audience & Purpose
This site was designed to offer information on the company's lawn care services, but also demonstrate their incredible landscaping skill by offering up a full portfolio of work they were were capable of performing for clients. The audience would be consumers with nice homes and looking for a way to enhance the lawn or landscape. Home values range from very high end homes to middle class homes. The site is designed with direct response actions in mind.
Sylvania Area Community Improvement Corporation
Audience & Purpose
This site has a diversified audience including business, community, and government. It was designed to showcase the work of the SACIC give information on services offered to the various groups as well as financing programs available. Finally, it will be used to develop new members for the organization. In the future the site will be a destination site for information on economic development in the Sylvania area and information about community issues.
Lydy & Moan Ltd.
Audience & Purpose
This site was designed to promote a diverse group of attorneys that each have their own practice within the context of a larger law firm. Each attorney wanted to promote themselves, but still appear to be part of a larger firm. Eventually the site will be used to post articles and information that each attorney has written. In addition, it is one more tool to give the attorneys exposure to potential clients.
Raceway Park
Audience & Purpose
This site was designed to promote Raceway Park to people interested in horse racing and also serve as a way to quickly and efficiently deliver information about racing rules, results, entries, and other pieces of information to the horsemen and individuals that wager on them. The site also has calendars and events listing as well news headlines and press releases for events that occur at the track.
Jeff Lydy.com
Audience & Purpose
Jeff Lydy is an attorney that was interested in developing a strong brand image with his practice as well as advertising what areas of law he practices. His site was designed to associate his brand and leverage off another national branded attorney. Jeff is also interested in developing pre-qualified leads off of his site, which is accomplished with the case evaluation page. Finally, Jeff was interested having his site positioned well in the search engines. His site has a number of special modifications that make it search engine friendly. In addition, continual modification and tweaking to continue to place the site well are likely going to continue.
Goodremont's
Audience & Purpose
Goodremont's web site was designed to be simple and clean. They wanted a way to connect with their prospects by giving out information on their products and services, connect with current customers with a newsletter, promote seminars for business development, and create online order/service forms to improve operational efficiency and communication.
Katz Collision
Audience & Purpose
This site was designed to help individuals that had been involved in an accident and needed auto body repair services information on their rights regarding auto insurance, information on Katz's work, and to display Katz's experience and technical expertise.
Automation & Control Technology
Audience & Purpose
The site was designed to give sales information to plant managers in need of industrial electronics repair and management. Due to the nature of the business the site was also optimized for search engines to give exposure all over the world and grow the business both nationally and eventually internationally.
ConnectED
Audience & Purpose
The site has 3 distinct audiences and eventually content will be developed for all three groups. The site was designed to help promote the benefits and products for educational assessments. The assessments can be marketed to any private or public school in the country and that is the eventual goal of the site to serve as a destination site for the target groups and sell products nationally.
